My name is Tim. This is my site, so here's a scene from the story of my life. One week after I finished high school, I enlisted in, and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. I was 18 years old, but my testosterone had not kicked in yet. I was not interested in girls, my only interests were music and baseball. I was a skinny runt when I went in the Corps, 5'11" and 142 pounds. After two years, my hormones had come out of hiding, I was 6'1", 190 Marine Corps muscular pounds, and VERY interested in girls. I was home on leave, and went to the home of a cute girl I barely knew from high school, hoping a date might magically materialize. When I knocked on her home's front door, she came out and joined me on their small front porch. After 'hellos' she broke the silence with, "Other than getting bigger, you look the same." At that point in my life I was still shy around girls, and also lacking in polished social skills. I didn't know what to say, and after a few long seconds of awkward silence, I mumbled, "Thanks." Her reply was, "That's not necessarily a compliment." If I had been more composed, I might have said, "Does that mean we're not going to have a night of hot sex later?" Instead, I mumbled "Good-bye" and left. I never saw her again.
